Tapville Launches The First Self-Pour Mobile Taproom in Chicagoland

Naperville, IL. September 2021. Tapville Social, the innovative tech-forward food and beverage franchising concept announced that they have launched the first self-pour mobile taproom in Chicagoland. The 16 tap mobile taproom can accommodate beverage service at public and private events. It can pour beer, wine, cider, as well as other drinks. Tapville delivers their self-pour model with brick & mortar, kiosk, and mobile taproom locations. The brand has grown quickly over the last few years with more than 50 locations open or in the pipeline nationwide.

The Chicagoland Mobile Taproom is Tapville’s second addition to their mobile taproom fleet. The Western Connecticut Mobile Taproom in Brookfield, CT launched earlier this year and has been a huge success. “Interest in renting our mobile taproom has recently exploded. Since the public unveiling at Naperville Ale Fest last weekend, we have been flooded with requests. People are looking to create unique experiences for their public and private events which our mobile taproom is perfect for,” said Joseph Tota, CEO, Tapville.

One of the big features of the mobile taproom is the ability to make the taproom experience more safe. Tapville has all of the same staff checks as a traditional taproom plus the added layer of technology that helps keep our guests safe. When guests visit the mobile taproom, they will have to provide an ID to a staff member. Once their age has been verified, guests will receive a pour pass that they will use to activate the tap wall. Staff will monitor as guests self-pour from the tap wall. Guests can pour a few ounces or a full pour of each drink. Once the guest reaches a predetermined amount of ounces poured, their pour pass will be deactivated. At this point the guest will have to be evaluated by a staff member to determine if pouring privileges should be restored.

The mobile taproom will also increase the opportunities for other local beverage, food and retail businesses by providing them more visibility as well as partnership opportunities.
